At just eight years old, Izyana Umair is already making her mark as a Pakistani author and concept artist.
The Class 4 student recently launched her second book, The Art of Giving, at the Karachi Marriott Hotel on August 29, 2026.
Izyana has been recognised among Pakistan’s youngest story writers and concept artists, turning her creativity into published work at an age when most children are discovering their interests.

The Art of Giving introduces children to the idea that generosity is not always about giving material things. Izyana’s book explores how sharing time, knowledge, encouragement, ideas and even a smile can be meaningful acts of kindness.
The book also combines reading with activities such as colouring, counting, saving and spending, creating an interactive experience for young readers.
Published by H.O.C Publications, it aims to make positive values easier for children to understand and practise.

Izyana’s latest release follows her debut book, Read, Color and Trace, which came out in August 2025. Within a year, she has returned with another book, continuing to develop her voice as a young writer and artist.
Her work has also earned her a Guinness World Records nomination for her achievements as a young writer and artist.
While a nomination does not mean she currently holds a Guinness World Record, it represents significant recognition for someone so young.

The book launch was also a deeply personal celebration for Izyana and her family as she completed her Ameen-e-Quran on the same occasion.
The day therefore brought together two important parts of her journey: her personal growth and her creative achievements.
H.O.C Publications also honoured her with the Outstanding Literary Achievement and Creative Excellence in Writing award, recognising her contribution as a young concept artist and writer.
