Fasset, an AI powered stablecoin neobanking platform co founded by Lahore born entrepreneur Daniel Ahmed, has raised $68 million in Series C funding at a valuation of $1 billion.
The funding round was led by Japan’s SBI Group, following Fasset’s $51 million Series B earlier this year. With the latest investment, the company has raised a total of $119 million in 2026.

The new funding will support the expansion of Own Network, Fasset’s regulated financial infrastructure designed to connect banks, telecommunications companies, payment providers and liquidity partners across international markets.
Fasset plans to increase investment in AI powered systems that support cross border banking, stablecoin settlement and tokenized asset infrastructure.
The company aims to make financial transactions more accessible across markets by connecting different payment and banking systems.

The milestone carries particular significance for Pakistan because Fasset co founder Daniel Ahmed was born in Lahore.
Ahmed said his experience helped shape his understanding of how access to financial systems can differ depending on where someone is born. He believes financial opportunity should depend less on geography and more on ambition and ability.
Fasset is working to create infrastructure that connects financial systems across markets, including Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Fasset has expanded its financial infrastructure across international markets, with more than 3 million wallets across 125 countries and over 1,000 enterprises using its products.
The company now processes more than $40 billion in annualized transaction volume, supported by a network spanning more than 100 banking corridors.
Its services allow customers to receive, hold, move, spend and invest across currencies, markets and asset classes.
