A group of Pakistani actors travelled to Jordan for a five-day humanitarian mission aimed at supporting Palestinians displaced from Gaza.
The initiative was carried out in partnership with SKT Welfare, a UK-registered charity working with communities affected by conflict and displacement.
The delegation included Jawed Shaikh, Saba Hamid, Shagufta Ejaz, Kubra Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Ally Khan, Nabeel Zafar and Khaled Anam.

The Pakistani delegation helped distribute 500 food parcels directly to Palestinian families in Jordan. Rather than limiting their participation to fundraising or awareness, the actors joined charity workers on the ground to help prepare and deliver the aid.
The group also visited injured Palestinian patients receiving treatment in hospitals and at their homes. Their presence provided an opportunity to offer companionship and emotional support alongside practical assistance.

For Palestinians evacuated to Jordan for medical treatment, humanitarian support extends beyond healthcare. Accommodation, nutritious food and transportation can all play an important role in helping patients continue their recovery and reach essential medical appointments.
SKT Welfare has been providing these services in Jordan while continuing relief operations in Gaza. A similar mission in 2025 distributed food parcels and hygiene kits across Jordanian refugee camps, reaching around 76,000 people.
