Pakistan & Saudi Arabia Sign Landmark Deal for International Cricket Stadium

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF) have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop a modern international-standard cricket stadium in Jeddah.
The agreement marks a major step in expanding cricket infrastructure and strengthening sporting cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The MoU was signed by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and SACF Chairman Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Mohammad Al Saud.

According to the joint statement, the proposed stadium will feature modern playing facilities along with international-standard infrastructure designed for players, officials, broadcasters, and spectators.
The collaboration also covers playing surfaces, training facilities, media centers, hospitality areas, and fan services.
The new venue is expected to strengthen Saudi Arabia's ability to host major international cricket events while supporting the Kingdom's wider sports development ambitions under Vision 2030.

The partnership extends beyond the construction of the stadium. The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation in cricket competitions, technical development programmes, coaching, and the exchange of expertise between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said Pakistan is proud to contribute to Saudi Arabia's cricket journey, adding that the partnership will strengthen cricketing ties between the two countries and leave a lasting legacy for the sport.

Cricket has witnessed rapid growth in Saudi Arabia in recent years, with increasing participation, structured development programmes, and continued support from the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation.
The new partnership with the PCB is expected to accelerate that progress even further.
The Jeddah stadium is expected to become a key venue for international cricket, helping Saudi Arabia attract global tournaments while encouraging greater participation in the sport across the Kingdom.
