The prime minister said that the event represents the spirit of friendship and international cooperation. He expressed hope that the tournament would provide memorable moments for football fans around the world.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed pride that the official FIFA World Cup 2026 match ball, named Trionda, has been manufactured in Pakistan.
He said the production of the ball reflects the skill and craftsmanship of Pakistani workers and demonstrates the country’s capabilities in the sporting goods sector.
According to the prime minister, Pakistan’s involvement in the tournament represents the nation’s contribution to a global celebration of sports. He hoped that the event would promote friendship, unity, and sporting excellence worldwide.

The Trionda match ball was designed by German sportswear company Adidas and incorporates symbolic elements representing the three host countries of the tournament.
Its design features red, blue, and green colors along with maple leaves symbolizing Canada, an eagle representing Mexico, and stars reflecting the United States.
A triangular pattern has also been included to signify the unity and partnership among the three host nations. The design aims to celebrate the shared spirit and cooperation behind the World Cup.

The Trionda football incorporates advanced technology designed to improve performance and assist match officials. Deep seams provide greater stability during flight, while embossed icons enhance grip under wet and humid conditions.
The ball is also equipped with a motion sensor chip that transmits real-time movement data to the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system.
This technology supports match analysis and helps referees make more accurate decisions. The integration of modern features reflects the growing role of technology in football.
