Hania Aamir Praises Sajal Aly’s Zanjeerain Performance
Hania Aamir has joined the praise surrounding Sajal Aly’s performance in Zanjeerain, despite not watching the entire drama. During an Instagram Live on her second account, a fan brought up Sajal’s acting and asked Hania if she had watched the show.
Hania explained that she had not followed the complete serial but had come across several clips online. Her reaction was brief but clear: she called Sajal’s performance fantastic.
The exchange quickly attracted attention because both actors are among Pakistan’s prominent television performers.
Sajal Aly played Rabia, the central character in Zanjeerain. Her character runs a local dhaba with her brother in a mountainous rural setting, where personal relationships become entangled with family rivalries and the influence of a feudal power structure.
The drama explored themes of love, loyalty, family conflict, power and secrets, gradually revealing the pressures surrounding Rabia and the people closest to her.
Zanjeerain premiered on HUM TV on April 29, 2026, and concluded this week after completing its television run. The finale brought the story of Rabia and the conflicts surrounding her to an end.
The drama brought together an ensemble cast while placing Sajal’s character at the centre of a story shaped by relationships, social hierarchy and long-held secrets.
While Hania admitted she had only seen selected clips rather than the full series, her positive reaction added another voice to the conversation around Sajal’s portrayal of Rabia.
