Editorial Policy

This policy explains how the Pakistanio newsroom works. Pakistanio is owned and run by Playrox.

1. Accuracy and sources

• We aim to be accurate, fair and clear. Facts are checked against reliable sources before publishing, and important claims are attributed to their source.
• Where a story is based on another publisher’s reporting, we credit and link to the original.
• Every story shows its author (or “Pakistanio Desk” for team stories) and its publication date.
• We separate news from opinion; opinion pieces are labelled.

2. Independence

Our editors decide what we cover. Advertisers, sponsors and partners do not decide or approve our news coverage.

3. Sponsored content and ads

Paid content is always clearly labelled “AD”, “Sponsored” or “Partner”. It is kept separate from our news stories.

4. Use of tools

Our team may use digital tools, including AI-assisted tools, for tasks such as translation, summaries or headline ideas. A member of our editorial team reviews and is responsible for everything we publish.

5. Images and video

We use images and video we have the right to use, and credit them where needed. Embedded videos from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and similar platforms remain the property of their creators.

6. Corrections

If we get something wrong, we correct it quickly and, for significant errors, add a note to the story saying what was changed and when. To report an error, email admin@pakistanio.com with the story link.

7. Comments and reader content

Reader and player content must follow our Community Guidelines.
