Indian singer Anuv Jain has opened up about an unforgettable experience with Pakistani music star Atif Aslam during a music tour in Nepal. The two artists were performing on different nights at the same event, with Atif taking the stage before Anuv.
After his performance, Atif invited Anuv and others to a barbecue. What followed was far more memorable than an ordinary dinner, as Atif began performing casually with his band.
Anuv recalled sitting beside Atif for hours while he continued singing, describing the intimate musical experience as one of the best moments of his life.
Anuv shared the story during a conversation with comedian Tanmay Bhatt on YouTube. He explained that Atif and his band were performing around the table during the late night gathering.
The informal performance continued for several hours, giving Anuv the chance to experience Atif’s music from just a few feet away rather than from a concert audience.
Calling the experience insane, Anuv expressed genuine admiration for Atif’s ability to keep performing even in such a relaxed setting. The unexpected jam session became a lasting memory for the Indian singer.
Anuv had actually spoken about the memorable night before. In April 2024, he shared a photograph with Atif Aslam on Instagram following their Nepal performances and revealed details about the late night gathering.
According to his earlier post, the picture was taken around 3am after Atif and his band transformed a simple barbecue dinner into an extended jam session for a small group of people.
The renewed story highlights Atif’s lasting influence across South Asian music. His performances continue to leave a strong impression not only on audiences but also on fellow artists like Anuv Jain.
