Dananeer Mobeen is adding another dimension to her growing entertainment career with the release of ‘Touch’, her first official music track.
The upbeat dance song brings her together with musician Haider Mustehsan, better known as Hydra, while Will Baker handled the production. The track combines English and Urdu lyrics with an energetic pop sound.
Dananeer first became widely known through social media in 2021, before gradually moving into acting and establishing herself on television.
Her acting portfolio includes popular projects such as Sinf-e-Aahan and Meem Se Mohabbat, while she also appeared in Mera Lyari, a sports film exploring Lyari’s football culture and the experiences of women in sport. With ‘Touch’, she is now exploring another form of expression.
The music video for ‘Touch’ matches the track’s carefree energy, featuring Dananeer and Hydra dancing around a house, beside a piano and near a pool before heading out in a convertible.
The collaboration was teased through artistic visuals in the days before its release, building curiosity around the unexpected musical pairing. Following its launch, fellow artists including Shae Gill and Mamya Shajaffer also shared their support.
