Aima Baig Celebrates Zain Ahmad’s Global Fashion Honour

Pakistani designer Zain Ahmad, founder and creative director of Lahore based fashion house Rastah, has been named among the new members of the BoF 500 Class of 2026, placing his work alongside influential figures shaping the global fashion industry.
The recognition was announced during Paris Fashion Week, where Ahmad also attended the Business of Fashion gala. The BoF 500 recognises individuals whose work has influenced fashion through design, business and culture.

Founded in 2018, Rastah has built its identity around traditional Pakistani craftsmanship combined with contemporary streetwear. The label has gradually developed an international following and has dressed global names including Justin Bieber, Timothée Chalamet, Zayn Malik and Barry Keoghan.
The brand also made history in 2023 by becoming the first Pakistani label to showcase at London Fashion Week. It has since expanded its international presence through pop ups and events in cities including New York, London and Paris.

Singer Aima Baig publicly celebrated Ahmad’s inclusion in the BoF 500 after he shared photographs from the Paris gala. Commenting on his Instagram post, she wrote PRIDE AND PROUD, to which Ahmad responded by thanking her for her continued support.
Ahmad’s recognition also reflects the growing international interest in Pakistani fashion that blends heritage craftsmanship with modern design. BoF highlighted Rastah’s role in encouraging a wider movement of founders across Pakistan and South Asia to build contemporary labels around artisanship.
