Pakistan’s Biggest Fashion Names Shine At LAAM Fashion Week

Lahore is hosting the second edition of LAAM Fashion Week from October 23 to 26, bringing together established fashion houses, independent labels, retail brands and emerging designers. The four-day event features 43 shows and more than 50 established labels, reflecting the diversity of Pakistan’s fashion industry, from couture and bridalwear to contemporary clothing and high-street collections.
The event is co-created by LAAM and Design651, with a format that connects runway presentations to online shopping. Alongside familiar names such as HSY, Ali Xeeshan, Deepak Perwani and Sania Maskatiya, the programme creates space for newer creatives to present their work.

This edition gives young designers a dedicated platform through the LFW Hot List, organised in collaboration with the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design. Ten selected designers are presenting capsule collections, offering audiences a look at fresh ideas and individual creative approaches. The showcase includes themes ranging from nature and identity to personal experiences and social questions.
The programme also expands beyond traditional fashion shows. LFW Retail Runway features 12 manufacturing-led and retail-ready brands, while LFW Edit introduces contemporary and high-street labels, several of which are making their major Fashion Week debut.

A key feature of LAAM Fashion Week is its focus on making collections accessible to shoppers beyond the physical event. The shows are being livestreamed through the LAAM app and website, with ARY Plus also providing coverage. This approach allows people in Pakistan and abroad to follow the presentations and discover participating designers without travelling to Lahore.
The platform behind the event reports more than five million app downloads, over 25 million active users and six million shoppers worldwide. These figures indicate the potential reach available to participating labels, although actual sales and business outcomes will depend on customer response.
